High up Hut at the 2 Rivers Gallery / Prince George BC

The High Up Hut workshop took participants on an imaginative design journey from the creation of a personal stick moquette to the collective building of a small hut space. The project utilized simple materials and hand tools as a means to create a reflective space for community gathering. The motif of the High Up Hut is part of an ongoing SoDE series that explores the creation of small sanctuary spaces that encourage solitude, reflection and taking time away from digital screens.
